How This New Cell Network Legislation Could Affect Your Fire Alarm
With an endeavor to make Wireless Cell Communication faster and more reliable, the US government, through its Federal Communications Commission (FCC) body, recently implemented a new Cell Network upgrade.
Therefore, older Communicators will no longer send signals after December 31, 2022. As a result, all network providers have started encouraging their customers to make the change before the national shutdown.
What does it mean for Fire and Security Alarms?
Fire and Security Alarm Systems that are monitored by older model cell communicators require an immediate upgrade. Without this upgrade, your Alarm System will no longer communicate with your monitoring center, and there will be no dispatch during an emergency. On the other hand, being proactive will ensure your Alarms continue to get monitored around the clock.
